Such a great restaurant! Enjoyed everything we ordered. Our waiter was great and gave us some good suggestions on what to get. I got the grouper fish in the Jackie sauce, which was amazing! The house salad was to die for, and they give you a cute little pallet cleanser which is such a good idea! Definitely will be coming back with the family! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went with my family (two couples) on a Saturday evening. The food was amazing. The prices are reasonable considering they give a lot of food, including salad and pasta with your plate. I choose the “blackened sea bass” (pictured). My wife grilled sea bass (pictured). Both were delicious. They had live music. Good service. And they close late considering the area (most restaurants closed at 10:00pm). I definitely come back to these place. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is the BEST restaurant that my family and I have ever been to. The service is phenomenal, the food is phenomenal, the atmosphere gives that authenic Italian dining. You really feel like something special here. The calamari is by far the best in South Jersey as well as their house salad!! More

This place is a favorite of residents. I know why. It gives that old school Italian feel. Very popular and wish we found this place before our last night of vacation. Food was mixed. There certainly was a lot of it. The bread and salad were great. The calamari were great. I would get this again. Main courses produced mixed results. Our waitress was a sweet heart. Overall it wasn’t bad but i am interested in trying other options. More

Update!!!! Came back for the third year in a row and it refused to disappoint. I had the tour of italy and my girlfriend had raviolis with meatballs. Our server was an absolute sweetheart and took care of us well. Did not disappoint. Will be back again!! 5 stars all day long. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you. Food excellent, service excellent. Incredible meal for a reasonable price. Huge menu selection. This is not an in and out type of place. Be sure to set aside at least 90 min to 2 hours minimum. Alfe’s is definitely a great Italian restaurant! The blush sauce and portion size were truly insanely great. No complaints at all there. Service also was very kind and explained anything we needed. Atmosphere was calm and inviting, and the restaurant was a lot larger than expected. Only issue was wait times. We had to wait an hour for a table (no hate there - totally understandable because it was a busy Saturday night even though it was already 7:30pm) but once we sat, we had to wait awhile for our food. We ordered an appetizer purposely right away and that came out timely but after ordering our main course it took right over an hour and a half for that to come out (it was two meals total - penne w/ blush and chicken, and gnocchi w/ blush and meatballs on the side). By that point it was almost 10:30pm and to eat this heavy of a meal was not something I was excited about. I totally would come back again but only when it’s not busy because no food is worth waiting that long with no heads up. I was in the area on an architectural film installation. A local resident had suggested Alfe's as a seafood dining experience. I never have time. Time is in short supply. So when I find myself with time on my hands, I like to make the most of it, so off to Alfe's I went. I dined alone, but I ordered a few dishes knowing full well I wouldn't finish everything and would be taking a lot on the road with me. I usually ignore salads and jump straight into the good stuff. But, the house salad here took me by surprise. I actually cleaned the plate. If you feel a sniffle or your under the weather and you order their Calamari Diablo, there's no way you're getting a cold. I wanted to finish it all and I could have, but I had other courses I had so I left that half finished. The lobster tail was really a treat. I made a point of eating a good portion of it without the melted butter and it was seasoned and broiled to perfection. I couldn't help it. I finished that lobster tail. Another main course that I ordered as a side was their gnocchi with sausage, and I had about a quarter of that and a few slices of sausage and that was very good. As my beverage, I had a coffee roma, and while I rarely drink, this was such a a good choice. I also had a cappuccino off to the side to balance it out. I tipped my waitress fifty dollars, and you should to. Tiffany was well worth it. I'm sure she takes care of every customer as well as she took care of me. She was very insightful in helping guide me through my choices. She remained personable, and stayed on top of keeping my water glass full and making sure everything was okay. If you're in the area and you value your time (just as much as your clients do) it won't be wasted at Alfe's. Price per person USD 100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went last night for salads & were disappointed. Her Cesar salad had no cheese on top and stale croutons. My antipasto most likely was true Italian, but had almost no lettuce. I guess I’m use to an American style salad with a good plentiful lettuce base. The tuna seemed right out of a can. We did turn away the bread & oil but it might have been the best part of the meal. Our favorite place to eat Italian in town is Little Italy’s, Wildwood Crest. Their antipasto salad for two (same price) is the last picture. You decide. Our first time visit. We were sitting along the boardwalk and asked for a recommendation for dinner and they pointed us to Alfe's. We enjoyed the service and food. Heads up, the long hots are HOT. This trip we waited quite a while to be seated and served but Alfe’s is worth the wait! The Jackie sauce (shrimp , scallops, crab) is one of a kind and something to experience if you’ve never tasted it. You can add it to any dish or throw it over some pasta and enjoy. The service was terrible. Never saw our waiter. He wasn't very friendly. We have been coming to Wildwood since the late 80's and have never been here, but because we came in April, most of our favorites (Ravioli House, Little Italy) were closed, so we were limited. As for the food, I would rather eat at Olive Garden. Wilted salad, mushy tomatoes, soggy cucumbers. Tomato sauce on gnocchi tasted like Prego. Jacki sauce was good, bit chicken was dry, shrimp were very tough, and scallops were chewy. For some reason it took 2 hours to eat there because of the slow service.
